Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced Hydro Excavation Sales Representative for its Houston operations based in Pasadena, Texas. This individual will be responsible for generating business leads, ensuring projects are estimated timely, and closing on profitable deals. Other responsibilities include: 

 

  • Responsible for managing client accounts and driving sales growth for our hydro-excavation services
  • Client Relationship Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building and maintaining strong, long-lasting relationships
  • Conduct regular meetings and communications with clients to provide updates, address concerns, and identify opportunities for additional services
  • Develop and implement strategies to generate new business and expand our market presence in hydro excavation services
  • Identify and pursue sales opportunities within all market sectors
  • Prepare and present proposals, bids, and quotes for hydro vac projects, ensuring alignment with client requirements and PCI capabilities
  • Project Coordination and Management
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including project managers, technicians, and operations staff, to coordinate hydro vac projects from initiation to completion
  • Ensure that projects are executed efficiently, safely, and in accordance with client expectations, regulatory requirements, and PCI requirements.
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and timelines, addressing any issues or deviations as they arise
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, sales activities, and project-related documentation
  • Provide insights and recommendations for improving sales strategies and client satisfaction

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 5 years professional work experience with planning and estimating hydro excavation projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction, Engineering, or another industry-related field preferred.

 

Preferred Requirements: 

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue sales opportunities, meet sales targets, and drive revenue growth
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events
