Job Description

PCG is seeking an experienced Director of Finance for its Corporate operations based in Lenexa, KS. As the Director of Finance, you'll spearhead strategic financial oversight and leadership within the company. Your expertise will guide senior management in optimizing financial sustainability and realizing long-term growth objectives. With a focus on decision-making authority, you'll steer the company's financial trajectory towards success. 

 

Responsibilities:

Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): 

  • Lead and provide expert guidance for M&A endeavors, encompassing target evaluation, purchase price valuation, due diligence, risk assessment, negotiation, and legal agreement review. 
  • Serve as the primary liaison for target entities and manage employee communications throughout the process. 

Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP) Financial Overview: 

  • Offer comprehensive financial advice on ESOP sustainability, plan design, stock valuation, and internal education initiatives. 

Political Action Committee (PAC) Oversight: 

  • Direct PAC lobbying efforts with U.S. representatives and senators, ensuring compliance with securities regulations and fostering employee engagement. 

Banking, Treasury, and Cash Investing: 

  • Oversee the company's financial activities, including banking relationships, credit agreements negotiation, investment strategies, treasury management, and equipment leasing decisions. 

Bonding: 

  • Develop and maintain the company's bonding program, focusing on relationship management, problem-solving, internal support, and benchmarking efforts. 

Facility and Purchasing:

  • Manage facility procurement and vendor relationships, negotiating lease terms and securing vendor rebates to optimize cost-efficiency. 

Financial Analysis: 

  • Prepare accurate financial analysis and cash flow forecasting to support company operations, annual insurance renewal, valuations, and board reporting requirements. 

 

Requirements

Basic Requirements:

  • At least 10 years of finance-related experience (M&A, banking, financial analysis)
  • Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • At least 5 years of leadership experience in a corporate setting
  • Proficiency and experience in financial benchmarking, investing and regulatory compliance
  • Strong negotiation, relationship-building and communication skills
  • Comfortability presenting and training to Leadership and others
  • Excellent experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent organization skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Great communication abilities across different levels of an organization (both written and oral)
  • Maintains a collaborative mindset
  • Willingness to travel maximum of 20%

Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience in the construction industry
  • MBA or relevant certifications
