PCI is seeking an experienced and qualified Estimator – Industrial Coatings for its Houston 115 operations based in Pasadena, TX. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of bidding Industrial Coatings construction projects and the following duties:

• Preparation of request for proposal for applicable scopes of work needed.
• Developing and maintaining relationships with local customer base.
• Work directly with owners, and contractors.
• Attend pre-bid walk-throughs.
• Prepare detailed quantity take-offs & estimates.
• Breakdown projects into functional stages.
• Accurately review project schedules for applicable scopes.
• Write detailed proposals.
• Prepare bid analysis and review.
• Prepare financial job cost analysis.
• Resource materials and equipment.

Basic Requirements

• Minimum 5 years’ of combined field and estimating experience in projects of the following scopes:
• Industrial Coating
• Industrial Fireproofing

Minimum Requirements

• Ability to establish and build customer relationships.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.
• Strong ability to read & interpret blueprints and specifications.
• Ability to accurately read schedules for sequencing and durations of applicable scopes of work.
• Experience with computer takeoff & estimating software.
• Ability to juggle multiple projects and keep each on schedule ensuring that all deadlines are met.
• Ability to communicate well with all levels of employees within the company.
