Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to support our Insulation Specality Services and Industrial Cleaning Operations based out of Knoxville, TN and the Southeast Region.  This individual will responsible for building new business opportunities within the Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee markets to expand PCI’s business portfolio. This key sales strategist will also be responsible for successfully nurturing and cultivating relationships and business networks.

  • Develop and implement marketing plans, objectives and relationship activities
  • Conduct an overview of prospective projects and leads
  • Contact and develop relationships with potential clients as identified in PCI strategic and business plan
  • Make direct contact with leads, proposals, prospects, prospective clients, and influencers
  • Maintain records of all target clients, activity including contacts, communication, and results
  • Promote PCI by participating in relevant industry associations, conferences, and other opportunities
  • Prepare and manage proposals and qualifications for potential opportunities

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher, or commensurate experience, in a technical field will be given strong consideration
  • Minimum 5 year of experience working in construction (preferably the Industrial sector)
  • Experience preparing proposals
  • Proven industry sales and business development capabilities
  • Travel 75%+ of time
