Job Description

PCI is seeking an experienced EHS Manager for its Masthead operations based in Phoenix, AZ. This individual will be working in the heavy rigging and machinery moving industry in the Phoenix/East Valley area.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Delivering and coordinating safety training for management and field personnel in accident prevention techniques, compliance with policies, procedures and programs and federal and state standards
  • Coordination and completion of safety projects
  • Direct involvement with HSE auditing process of employees
  • Conduct behavior based safety observations
  • Site safety inspections
  • Presenting safety training
  • Lead and coordinate site emergency response efforts
  • Regularly inspect PPE and other work related tools and equipment
  • Prepares and maintains safety related records and reports

Requirements

  • Current OSHA 500 & 510 qualification (Able to train OSHA 10 and OSHA 30 HR courses)
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience managing Health, Safety and Environmental regulatory compliance in a heavy industrial construction environment
  • Crosby Rigging Training is a plus
  • NCCCO certified is a plus
  • Expertise in Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulatory requirements and regulatory process
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Possess strong leadership skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
